Two minutes, every feature
Everything the assistant brings to the call
From sign-up to a finished report
Built to stay out of the frame
This is the core of what LuPa Helios is: an assistant that's fully visible to you and fully out of the picture for everyone else. You get live guidance on your own screen; whoever you're presenting to, calling, or sharing your screen with sees exactly what you'd have shown them anyway.
Excluded from the captured feed
The HUD requests OS-level content protection when it opens. That's a real, platform-level instruction to the operating system to leave this window out of whatever a screen share, a screen recording, or a screenshot actually captures. It isn't a blur, an overlay trick, or something a viewer could notice if they looked closely: the window is excluded from the captured image itself, on your side, before it ever reaches whatever app or service is doing the capturing.
You still see everything, always
Content protection only changes what a capture sees, never what your own eyes see. The HUD stays transparent, frameless, and always on top of your other windows on your own display, the entire time you're sharing your screen with someone else.
No Dock or taskbar icon
Turn on Dock/taskbar icon hiding in Settings and LuPa Helios stops showing up as a running app to glance at, too, so there's nothing in the icon tray to draw a second look. It's still fully visible to you in Activity Monitor or Task Manager the whole time, like any other program: this hides the icon someone glancing at your screen might see, not the process itself.
Even your cursor is covered
Hovering the HUD swaps your real mouse pointer for a private, on-screen marker rendered inside the same protected window, so the pointer itself doesn't leak into a shared screen while you're using the controls.
Where this matters
- Sales calls: glance at your own coaching without your screen looking crowded or distracting to the client you're presenting to.
- Presentations and live Q&A: keep your talking points and answers in view while the audience only ever sees your slides.
- Interviews: the same protection covers the desktop HUD and the standalone Teleprompter Overlay alike.
Protection works through the standard screen-share and recording paths on both macOS and Windows. It covers software capture, the thing a screen share or a recording app actually does; it was never going to stop a physical camera pointed at a monitor, and that's true of any software on any platform. LuPa Helios is built for consent-based use: meeting capture only starts when you press Start, and it records other participants' audio, not just yours, so notify participants and obtain consent where required by law or policy. Do not use LuPa Helios to evade monitoring, proctoring, consent, or platform rules.
